My background is Cuban-American. Although I was born in Houston, my first language was still Spanish and I have continued to stay fluent.
I went to college at Texas A&M University in little old College Station where after 3 degree changes and 5 years I graduated with a B.A. in International Studies, Latin American Option in 1996. Several of my trips were made while at A&M through university sponsored programs - one of the best ways to get some traveling done at low costs while earning university credits.
I also married a computer engineer whom I met here in Houston in October 1998. His name is Kenny and happens to be an Aggie as well.
