Picasa is a free software download from google, which comes with the google pack or just as a straight download.

Picasa helps you find, edit, and share all the pictures on your computer.

Whenever you open Picasa it automatically locates all your pictures on your computer. It then sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names you will recognize.

Picasa also has some nice advanced editing "one-click" fix features.

Finally Picasa makes it easy to burn picture cd's, email pictures to friends, or print photographs. It also comes with some nice photo sharing features so you can download your friends photos back to Picasa on your own computer using Picasa Web Albums.
