Dear Sonya:



I am happy to move into this phase in the process of becoming a Quality Analyst for K.Dodge. I believe monitoring customer interaction with customer service representatives is necessary to ensure excellent customer care is being provided to customers, preserving clients by satisfaction while maintaining their customer’s loyalty. Customer loyalty means more revenue, company name recognition, and with that, longevity.



Customer loyalty is possible when customers feel a connection with the company. The service representative is the first contact in this connection. The representatives should be knowledgeable, professional, and courteous, but most importantly listen to the customer to successfully implement the above. There are different types of customers, meaning the type of approach should vary accordingly.



Excellent customer service to me is when a company provides economical quality products or services with various options and quality care. When a company demonstrates they appreciate my business by knowing who I am, understanding what I want, and being courteous, timely and attentive I look forward to continuing business with them. As a consumer, I expect courtesy, knowledge, honesty, and convenience from a company. Others may expect savings, security, and a variety of options. An excellent customer service contact, should address my needs quickly while ensuring I am informed appropriately. For another customer, the representative should take a little extra time expressing empathy and/or addressing concerns the customer has expressed, this provides the security that this customer may need in order to build a lasting positive impression, ensuring repeat business and referrals.



To sum things up, “what excellent customer service means to me”, is listening to my  needs, addressing my concerns, providing me with relevant options, resolution with one call or visit when possible, and by making me feel appreciated. A company that meets client needs conveniently, with value, and integrity builds lasting relationships and revenue.
