American Gangster is based on a true story of Frank Lucas; Lucas was a well known drug lord in New York City. If you like Denzel (playing Frank Lucas) as a bad guy, this is a movie for you. Frank Lucas is portrayed revolutionizing the heroin trade in New York city. Russell Crowe plays a detective in the movie. A classic revenge trip is played out and soon, Russell is soon going after Denzel.

Not a bad movie overall. Definitely worth the watch.
